Monarch remains committed to the university tradition of independent academia – a major point of difference among industry trainers. The institute is governed by an academic board made up of nine respected academics and tertiary education experts. This independent board, chaired by Emeritus Professor Keith Houghton, is crucial to the academic integrity of Monarch’s courses and ensures that student needs are given priority. The Board of Directors, is chaired by Dr John Beggs, former head of Commonwealth Bank’s Equities and Australia’s largest retail stockbroker CommSec.
Monarch Institute has previously developed training programs to meet the demands of organisations large and small, our most recent course developments have been in partnership with Small Business Victoria, Solar Victoria, Domino’s, Sovereign Hill, Deloitte and the Institute of Public Accountants. Our Graduates are now working in leading companies like KPMG, Mars, AMP, Toll, Linfox, Oracle, and IBM. The four largest employers of Monarch graduates are the Commonwealth Bank, NAB, Deloitte and the ANZ Bank.
