Innovation & Design
Australian Education Training Awards 2021
Winner of the ‘Curriculum Design and Innovation’ Award. This showed Monarch’s innovative approach to course content and design, exemplified by our successes in delivering consistent learning experiences that are relevant to industry needs.
LearnX Awards 2023
Monarch also received a Gold award for our Business Victoria Toolkit Program. This recognised Monarch’s innovative technology, a learner-centered approach, and a high-impact support system for small businesses after the COVID pandemic in Victoria.
LearnX 2024 Awards
Monarch was recognised with a Diamond Award at the LearnX 2024 awards in the Best Learning Model – Blended category. This was for our work with Business Victoria on the Business Victoria Toolkit Program, delivering webinars, mentoring, workshops and online courses that helped thousands of small businesses in Victoria to digitise and innovate, adapt to meet changing customer needs and navigate regulatory requirements.
LearnX Awards 2025
Monarch won the top award – Platinum, in the Best Learning Model – Custom / Bespoke category, for our work in the Solomon Islands, working in partnership with the IPA and ISIA, designing and developing a four-module program aimed at developing the capacity of local accountants and accounting technicians.

2026 VET Conference Awards
Monarch was named a Finalist in the 2026 Australian VET Conference Awards in the category Excellence in Industry Collaboration, for our work on the Solomon Islands capacity building project with DFAT and the Institute of Public Accountants.

The International Stevie Awards 2024
In August 2024 Monarch was honored as a Bronze @TheStevieAwards winner in The 21st Annual International Business Awards®, the “Olympics for the workplace,” for Monarch and ISIA's Professional Diploma Program in the Career and Workforce Readiness Solution category. More than 3,600 nominations from organisations of all sizes in 62 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in hundreds of categories. This is the first time Monarch have entered.
Learning & Performance Asia Pacific Learning Impact Awards 2024
Monarch won Learning Solution of the Year at the Institute for Learning & Performance Asia Pacific Learning Impact Awards 2024. This is for our Professional Diploma of Accounting course, recognised for its significant impact on building capacity in the Solomon Islands’ financial workforce, benefiting both the public and private sectors with Institute of Solomon Islands Accountants.

Upskilling/Workforce Learning Solution 2025. The Stevie Awards, organizers of the world’s premier business awards programs, awarded Monarch Institute bronze awards for The Business Victoria Toolkit as well as the Solomon Islands Professional Diploma.

Monarch Institute, with ISIA, IPA and DFAT, created the Solomon Islands’ first professional accounting pathway — a locally tailored, high-support program that more than doubled the nation’s qualified technicians and enabled tax agent registration for the first time.
