Olivia has over 16 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care across long day care, preschool, and family day care settings. She has worked as an Early Childhood Educator, Early Childhood Teacher, and Educational Leader. She has supervised many pre-service Early Childhood Teachers and supported students and educators from a wide range of backgrounds. She is a strong advocate for strength-based education, both for children and adult learners, and she is committed to bringing out the best in every learner. Olivia is particularly experienced in children’s diverse learning needs, positive behaviour guidance, and staff mentoring.

She has extensive experience supporting children with additional needs. Throughout her career, she has worked with children with autism, ADHD, specific learning disorders, physical and intellectual disabilities, language barriers, and those who have experienced trauma. She has partnered with families using a strength-based approach, providing practical strategies, resources, and information to empower them and help build strong, supportive networks that promote positive outcomes for their children.

Olivia is a strong advocate for strength-based teaching and education. She believes that every learner is a unique individual with their own strengths, abilities, and potential. Her goal is to inspire learners to become the best version of themselves through encouragement, empowerment, and meaningful support.
