I currently work as a Team Manager in Investment and Advice at the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. In this role, I lead a team responsible for assessing and resolving complex complaints involving financial advice, investments, managed funds, superannuation and other financial products.

Before joining AFCA, I held several roles with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, including Team Manager in Financial Planning Advice Remediation and Advice Remediation Case Manager. My experience included reviewing complex financial advice, assessing customer outcomes, managing remediation matters and leading high-performing teams.

I also have extensive vocational education and training experience. I have delivered and assessed nationally recognised qualifications and units in financial planning, mortgage broking, paraplanning, accounting and business. My teaching experience includes work with Monarch Institute, Academies Australasia and the Southern Academy of Business and Technology.

Earlier in my career, I also taught at bachelor’s and master’s level overseas, primarily across Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration programs. The subjects I taught focused mainly on management, business ethics and related business disciplines.
