Course Topics

Module 1

Data Analytics and Fundamentals (3hr 37min)

What’s your data trying to tell you? Is your marketing reaching your target audience? This module helps you understand data sources and how to make use of the massive amount of info at your disposal.

We’ll help you decipher the numbers to get to what really matters, helping you mine all that big data for the stuff that will help you stand out from your competitors. We’ll show you the tools to use and alternatives across the different platforms.

We’ll also be talking about AI and how to make it work for your business or organisation.

Module 2

Data Collection and Data Privacy (2hr 18min)

Few things are more important to your customer than their private information, so getting it right from their first interaction with you and your business is critical.

This module shows you how to prepare and manage data collection and data privacy. We even talk about privacy in the age of Alexa and Siri.

Module 3

Data Security and Compliance (1hr 40min)

With increasing regulation and even stricter rules surrounding data privacy as the world moves online, you need to stay on top of current best practice and on the ‘right’ side of global regulators including the GDPR and CCPA.

Customers are more aware than ever about the value of their personal data, protecting their data and what it all means. Keep your organisation on the right side of data protection laws, rules and regulations for the benefit of everyone.

Module 4

Data and Marketing (1hr 42min)

Your email list, and how you use it, can make or break your business. It’s the data that’s sprinkled with gold dust.

When you build, nurture and protect your email list, you have a powerful tool at your disposal. Social media, while also important, has nothing on the email list. This module teaches you how to use all your marketing data wisely.

By learning to use it wisely, you may find it delivers the best ROI of any aspect of your business.

Module 5

Visualising and Presenting Data (2hr 42min)

Having and understanding all the data is great. But presenting it to your various stakeholders is another thing entirely.

This module shows you how to create powerful, compelling reports and presentations to showcase all your hard work, without confusing others with data analysis they don’t fully understand.

While you know the data speaks for itself, other stakeholders need to be shown the various data and data channels in ways that make sense to them.

“Learning is an experience. Everything else is just information.”
- Albert Einstein

I’ve worked in various digital marketing and business development roles for regional airlines, hotels and cruise liners. I managed a hot air balloon business, Global Ballooning Australia which took me around the world as I helped launch the experience to the international market.  I penned what I learned in a self-published book, Adventures of a Balloon Girl.

In 2014 I followed my calling to teach and became a certified trainer and assessor launching my own training and mentoring practice. Since launching I have developed over 30 online and group training programs specialising in digital, social media marketing, and tourism.

What gets me out of bed in the morning?

Igniting excellence in people! I love spending time with my family and using all the digital tools available to help business and careers grow. What really gets me out of bed most mornings though is my 4.30am alarm. I love to start the day with a morning run or strength training to keep me fit and energised.
