Course Topics

Module 1

Data, AI, and Data Protection (2hr 22min)

What’s your data trying to tell you? Is your marketing reaching your target audience? This module helps you understand data sources and how to make use of the massive amount of info at your disposal.

We’ll help you decipher the numbers to get to what really matters, helping you mine all that big data for the stuff that will help you stand out from your competitors. We’ll show you the tools to use and alternatives across the different platforms.

We’ll also be talking about AI and how to make it work for your business or organisation, as well as need to know info about ethics, privacy laws, and data protection.

Module 2

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Fundamentals (2hr 32min)

GA4 is the biggest data tracker and analyser on the market. In this module, we’ll teach you everything you need to know to get started, from setting up an account, to creating a Google tracking code, to integrating GA4 with your other tools and trackers.

You’ll also learn how to gather data and create reports.

Module 3

Data Driven Decisions (1hr 40min)

Now that you have all this information, how do you put it to work? Which data sets should you focus on? What trends are worth tracking? In this module, you’ll be able to answer all these questions and more.

You’ll learn all the analytics lingo, how to monitor your marketing campaigns, and how to use your new insights to improve your campaigns and increase return on investment (ROI).

Module 4

Visualising and Presenting Data (2hr 29min)

Having and understanding all the data is great. But presenting it to your various stakeholders is another thing entirely.

This module shows you how to create powerful, compelling reports and presentations to showcase all your hard work, without confusing others with data analysis they don’t fully understand.

While you know the data speaks for itself, other stakeholders need to be shown the various data and data channels in ways that make sense to them.

“Learning is an experience. Everything else is just information.”
- Albert Einstein

I’ve worked in various digital marketing and business development roles for regional airlines, hotels and cruise liners. I managed a hot air balloon business, Global Ballooning Australia which took me around the world as I helped launch the experience to the international market.  I penned what I learned in a self-published book, Adventures of a Balloon Girl.

In 2014 I followed my calling to teach and became a certified trainer and assessor launching my own training and mentoring practice. Since launching I have developed over 30 online and group training programs specialising in digital, social media marketing, and tourism.

What gets me out of bed in the morning?

Igniting excellence in people! I love spending time with my family and using all the digital tools available to help business and careers grow. What really gets me out of bed most mornings though is my 4.30am alarm. I love to start the day with a morning run or strength training to keep me fit and energised.
